Marital counselling
Marriage relationships are meaningful and multifaceted. It can be one of life’s greatest gifts, but sometimes it is also the source of your deepest pain. I understand that even the best of relationships can sometimes be bogged down by life’s unexpected pitfalls and challenges. So, in all stages of your relationship, coming to therapy together is a great way to strengthen your relationship and emotional connection. I work with couples to help them reignite their passions, teamwork, and communication. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and are a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. I am here to help couples to overcome communication pitfalls that prevent relationships from thriving and to make changes that help both people in the relationship feel valued. My hope is to help partners get back to intimacy, love, and trust in order to build a stronger and more resilient partnership.

Couple Therapy Process
Couples First Session: In the initial session, you and your partner will meet together with the counselor to discuss your current situation and relationship history.
Questionnaire: Following the first session, each of you will complete an online questionnaire at home, designed to assess your relationship satisfaction. It’s important that each of you answers independently without sharing your responses. Some questions allow for additional notes, which the counselor will review, so use this feature when needed.
Individual Sessions: Each of you will then have a separate individual session with the counselor.
Couples Feedback Session: After both questionnaires are completed, and typically a week after the individual sessions, you will have a second joint session. This marks the end of the assessment phase. The counselor will compile all the information into a comprehensive 10-page report, which you will keep. This report provides new insights into your relationship and helps set the goals for your therapy. This evaluation is crucial for understanding your relationship and planning for a better future.
